It was only a few years ago that I discovered Human Design. I was in a group program and the women were excitedly asking each other what their Human Design type was. I had no idea what they were talking about but it really piqued my curiosity.

Afterwards, I hurriedly searched up my chart so I could find out what my Human Design type was too. I discovered that I was a Projector but I couldn’t quite make sense of the chart in front of me. I began searching online for more information and quickly became confused by the foreign concepts and terminologies. As much as I was curious about it, I didn’t go any further with it at the time. But a seed was definitely planted.

How I became a Human Design reader

I kept hearing about Human Design more and more so about a year later I decided to book in for a reading. I was so ready to dive deeper into my design and make sense of all of the research. I soon found out that the Human Design reader I was about to book in with was launching a HD reader certification. So as fate would have it, instead of booking in for a reading I signed up to become a certified reader! (I’d later come to learn that this seeking of knowledge is something that comes up repeatedly in my chart.)

So I went all in… I studied like I’ve never studied before and I’ve done a lot of studying in my time! It was and is still so fascinating to me. And when I completed the course and received my certification in Human Design it was the most excited I’d been about completing a course (even more than my double degree at University!). I knew at a soul level that this is the work that I came on this earth to do.

Interestingly enough when I discovered that I have a 1/3 profile which represents the investigator and the scientist archetypes, it blew my mind because I’d studied journalism & health science! I’d always been searching for the right path, the right career, yet I could never quite find what truly lights me up. Human Design was that missing piece for me.

My purpose work

Fast forward to now and my business is thriving and focused on empowering women to create a life and business that aligns with their Human Design. I feel so excited that I get to do this purpose work and make an impact in other people’s lives. It’s been such an incredible journey of self-discovery and self-empowerment. My purpose is to live authentically, speak my truth and to guide others to see what is possible for them by embodying their design and stepping into their highest potential.
